Part-Time Clinical Supervisor

Hourly, On-site

The Clinical Supervisor is a part-time position within an OMH-licensed MHOTRS program, responsible for providing a balanced combination of clinical treatment, supervision and administrative/program leadership.

The Clinical Supervisor will support the day-to-day functioning of the program by promoting high-quality clinical care, ensuring documentation and treatment practices meet OMH standards, monitoring regulatory and organizational compliance, and supporting staff performance and professional development. The position will work collaboratively with the Clinical Director and program leadership to ensure effective service delivery and consistent adherence to agency policies, OMH regulations, and applicable clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

  • Provide ongoing clinical and administrative supervision to LPHA staff.
  • Support clinicians in the assessment, treatment planning, clinical interventions, risk assessment, and ongoing management of patient needs.
  • Review clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with OMH and agency requirements.
  • Provide consultation regarding complex clinical presentations, risk concerns, crisis situations, and treatment barriers.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development support.

 

Administrative & Program Leadership

  • Support day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the MHOTRS program.
  • Assist with maintaining program compliance with OMH regulations, agency policies, and applicable documentation and service requirements.
  • Monitor program processes and documentation practices to identify areas for improvement and promote quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director regarding staffing, workflow, performance concerns, program needs, and operational priorities.
  • Participate in program meetings, quality improvement initiatives, audits, and other administrative activities as needed.

 

Direct Clinical Services

  • Maintain a small clinical caseload consistent with the part-time nature of the position.
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy as clinically appropriate.
  • Complete required clinical documentation and treatment planning in accordance with OMH and agency standards.
  • Coordinate care with internal and external providers and support appropriate referrals and linkages when indicated.

Qualifications:

Salary & Position Structure:

  • $50 – $75 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Part-time position.
  • Approximately 50% clinical / 50% administrative and supervisory responsibilities.
  • 2–3 days per week on-site, based on program needs and scheduling.
  • Position reports directly to the Clinical Director.
  • Potential future opportunity to transition to a full-time Clinical Supervisor/leadership role, based on organizational needs and mutual interest.

    Per Diem Mental Health Therapist
